Drakhthar wasn't born in a big company or a professional studio. It was born at my dining room table, among a computer, a 3D printer, tools, tests, mistakes and many hours of work. This is where I design the figures, write the stories, print the pieces, clean them one by one, prepare them and pack them by hand.
My figures are made in PLA through FDM 3D printing. That's why they look simpler and more honest than an industrially produced resin figure. I don't try to hide it; it's part of their identity. They are pieces built layer by layer, with their textures, their details and the small quirks that come with this kind of craft.
What's more, because of this handmade process, no two pieces are ever completely identical. Each print may show slight differences, small variations or unique details that appear during production and finishing. Far from being a defect, to me that's part of their charm. Those small differences make every figure a one-of-a-kind piece, with its own personality and its own story.
I'm not trying to make thousands of perfect copies. I'd rather create affordable figures with character, accompanied by something I consider just as important: a world, characters and a story that bring them to life.
Behind every figure there are hours of design, printing, preparation and learning. And behind all of it there's me, working from a dining table turned into a makeshift workshop, trying to create something special without losing the simplicity, closeness and honesty this project started with.
Maybe my figures aren't perfect. But that's exactly where part of their value lies: each one has passed through my hands, each one has its own quirks, and each one is a small piece of this dream called Drakhthar.
