DRAKHTHAR
Everything that is known about the continent of Drakhthar. Its regions, its dragons, its Named, and the conflict that threatens to destroy it all.
In the beginning, before men raised their first cities and the dwarves dug their first mines, there was the First Dragon. It was not a creature like those that would come after. It was something older, vaster โ a primordial force that held the continent together by its presence alone.
No one knows for certain what destroyed it. The oldest texts speak of a war between forces that men never fully understood. What is known is what remained afterward: a fractured continent, thirteen dragons each inheriting a fraction of its power, and an ancient threat sealed beneath the earth, waiting for the moment when the chains that held it grew weak enough.
Each of the thirteen dragons inherited a region, a duty, and a destiny. They did not choose it. They simply awoke knowing they had to protect what was theirs โ even if none of them fully understood why. Beside them, in time, arose the Named: warriors, explorers, and sages who learned to speak with them, to understand them, to fight alongside them when the need came.
For centuries the balance held. The regions prospered, each with its own culture, its own climate, its own way of understanding the world. The dragons slept or kept watch, each according to its nature. The Named lived their lives knowing that one day they would be called to something greater.
That day is coming.
